Check and fix loose connections and/or scratchy pots: £15
Component replacement
Replace potentiometer: £20 (1 pot) + £5 for each additional pot
Replace input jack: £20
Replace selector switch: £25
Add/Replace capacitor or treble bleed: £20
Pickup replacement: £30 (1 pickup) + £15 for each additional pickup
Circuit and shielding
Rewiring: from £50
Shielding pickguard with copper foil: £20
Shielding control cavity with copper foil: £25
Modifications and routing
Battery compartment routing: £60
Includes routing the cavity for the compartment and an access hole to the electronics cavity.
Battery compartment, wiring and components not included.
All electrical work is tested thoroughly before return.
Prices are for labour only.
Cost of parts is not included and will be charged at cost.
Parts will be sourced after consultation, and you’re welcome to supply your own.
Battery compartment routing notice
Routing involves permanent wood removal and alters factory finish and structure. Cavity placement is subject to body thickness and internal electronics layout. Battery box hardware, active components, and wiring are quoted separately, if required.
Note on semi-hollow & hollow body guitars
Circuit and component work on instruments without rear control covers (e.g., ES-335-style guitars and archtops) is subject to a £20 surcharge due to the additional time and difficulty involved in accessing and reinstalling components.
