Q: Why is there a £30 premium for Stainless Steel frets?
A: The surcharge reflects the extra labour time and tool wear when working with stainless steel which is significantly harder than standard nickel-silver fretwire. While more demanding to install, the result is a "forever" fret that elevates the playing experience and will not require further fretwork or replacement for decades.
